She was born April 15, 1936, in Everett, daughter of Warren and Mabel Parris. Her nickname was "Cookie," a name given to her by her father. Soon after birth, the Parris family, which included five siblings: Warren, Bert, Charlie, Joe and Sister Mary, moved to 60 Lincoln St. in West Medford. Mrs. Bond had lived in Medford for over 50 years before moving to Malden and returning to Everett. She attended the Medford public school system.

She married Warren Eugene Bond in 1957, but he died eight years later, April 3, 1965, of complications due to internal chicken pox and pneumonia. He was 29 years old.

She had worked over 20 years at Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies as a printed circuit board assembler and repairer, before retiring a few years ago.

Mrs. Bond leaves many friends and coworkers that she loved dearly. She always played the role of Miss Attitude at work, but it was all an act. She truly enjoyed working and laughing with her coworkers. They nicknamed her
"Miss Mabel" to show their love for her.

Mrs. Bond lived a simple life. She didn't travel much, drive an expensive car of live in a lavish home, but she enjoyed watching soap operas, playing the lottery and figuring out word puzzles. She enjoyed watching her Patriots and Red Sox while yelling and screaming at the television.

Mrs. Bond is survived by two children, Warren Eugene Bond Jr. of Methuen and Leslie Ann Bond of Everett; eight grandchildren, Aja, Warren, Christian, Adelia, James, Garrett, Taylor and Emily; three great-grandchildren, Jalani, Jamari and Kayla; and many cousins, nephews, nieces and other extended family members.
