Obituary for Madlin E. Walker

MADLIN E. SENEGAL (MIMI) Madlin went home to be with the Lord, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at 9:00 am, after years of battling with cancer. Madlin was born in Lansing, Michigan, March 11, 1943 to David Anthony and Fannie Katherine Barnes. She was raised by Van and Laura Estelle Walker. She moved to California in 1968 after the birth of her daughter and began a new life as a Licensed Vocational Nurse at Providence Hospital (Summit Medical Center). The family joined Acts Full Gospel, COGIC. Madlin was a pillar of loving and dedicated involvement to her church family; always ready to provide a helping hand and sound advice. She leaves her beloved husband Ronald R. Senegal, loving daughters Tacelia A. Senegal and Hope D. Senegal (deceased), cherished sisters and brother Mary E. Alexander and Rose L. Barnes and Darryl V. Walker (Melanie); sister-in-laws, D. Gayle Senegal-Laine and Barbara J. Flemister; brother-in-law Warren C. Senegal (Jewel) and; treasured grandson Joshua T. Senegal; along with a host of well-liked grand and great-grand nieces and nephews, additional family members and friends. She was dearly loved by all who knew her. Quiet Hour to be held Monday, January 28th, 2008 5:30PM - 8:00PM, at Colonial Chapel, 2626 High St., Oakland, CA. The Homegoing Celebration to be held Tuesday, January 22, 11:00AM, at Acts Full Gospel , COGIC, 1034-66th Ave., Oakland, CA.
