- This line is probably a dead end as Josette reports that she's widowed by 1900... and she also filed for a civil war pension as well. This was long before another Prosper Johnson sent Acadia parish a letter granting the marriage union between his daughter Josephine and Georgie Chatman in 1909. However, it could be the case that Josette (aka Josephine) sent the letter herself.
